Children's Ministry

What To Expect
Nursery
We focus on the first two pieces of our mission by connecting our littles from birth up to 3 years old to Jesus and each other. They experience this through creative play, games, snack, songs and age-appropriate Bible stories. Our goal is that they know God made me and God loves me.
Preschool
We strive for every child ages 3-5 years old to connect to Jesus and each other and we work to cultivate community even at a young age. We long for every child to know that BridgeKids is a fun, welcoming and safe place. Through age-appropriate Bible stories, worship, prayer, and intentional games & crafts – done within a consistent routine – our goal is that every child learns the truth that God made me and God loves me.
Elementary
Our mission in BridgeKids is to connect our K-5th grade kids to Jesus, each other and God’s purposes for our lives. Our number one goal is that children learn about Jesus and how to have a relationship with Him. Through listening to age-appropriate Bible stories and practicing prayer and worship our goal is that every child learns how to connect to Jesus and each other and that they grow in their God given gifts - learning how to use them for His Kingdom.
The Details
Volunteer Screening & Training
All adult and youth volunteers are carefully selected and trained by church staff to maintain the highest integrity of our program. In addition, all adult volunteers are background-checked both nationally and locally and have gone through Ministry Safe (a safety system to protect children and those who serve them). We also have a no 1-on-1 policy. This means that at no time should a volunteer or staff be left alone with a child.
Drop Off & Pick Up
Classrooms open 15 minutes prior to worship service/program times. Pick-up will begin immediately after the worship service/program ends. At Check-In, your kid will be assigned a randomized code printed on their name tag and your claim ticket. Present the claim ticket when you pick up your kid from their classroom.
Kids will not be released if the code does not match.
Safety Team
In addition to our highly trained and loving volunteers, we have a Safety Team available in our Kids Ministry area and facility to maintain a fun and safe environment for everyone.
The Details
MERGE meets at BridgeWay every Wednesday night from 6:30-8pm.
Our small groups are divided into girls and guys and by age. We have dedicated mentors who care deeply about our teens. Mentors guide student led conversations about the week’s message and unpack how the truths of God’s word impact the lives of teens today. MERGE is a safe place to learn and grow in your faith and connect with friends in a real and meaningful way.

Community
MERGE is a place to connect with other teens who want to follow Jesus. Our culture welcomes everyone exactly like they are.
Fun
We have a blast through games like kickball, capture the flag, and our version of Family Feud when the weather forces us indoors. Whether inside or outside, come ready to laugh!
Growth
We value growth and growing deeper in our relationships with each other, but ultimately with Jesus. We start each week with a group game and then gather for worship, and connect in small groups.

Worship
We here at BridgeWay understand that there are times when we just need to sing out to God. We do just that! Someone may be having the worst day ever, but when they start to sing about hope and a desire to be closer to Jesus, he always stirs the heart and soul of those who worship him. Our groups take many forms including book studies, discipleship groups, and Rewind groups. There are so many ways you can connect with others beyond Sunday morning! Consider joining a group today!
